ICEGERGERT, one of the most notable voices of the new wave and a resident of the GAZ creative collective, will take the A2 stage with a big solo concert. This winter, on December 6, Saint Petersburg will become part of a big trap show with sharp, story-driven identity.
Over the past year ICEGERGERT has cemented his status as one of the main hitmakers of the rap scene. His tracks enter the charts and set the agenda: from the street to the streamings, from glossy magazines to trends in vertical video. «Glaz Boga» only amplified this effect — the release immediately took top positions, holding the lead simultaneously on VK Music and Yandex Music, and on Apple Music it entered the ranks of the most-streamed albums right after release. All the album’s tracks hit the streaming charts immediately after release, and the musician’s audience grew more than 20-fold.
Lately every release by the artist becomes a talking point and reliably reaches banger status. In the past year alone he has added features to his discography in which different generations of the scene converge: Basta, FEDUK, Obladaet, Zivert, 52-ye. At the same time ICEGERGERT keeps his own signature and sounds organic at different poles of the genre.
At the Saint Petersburg concert earlier this year, ICEGERGERT gathered an evening of Russian rap together with the leaders of the genre. This time — a slightly more intimate and personal delivery, but with the same scale: unexpected guests, dense sound and the rhyming traditional for the northern capital will create the effect of full immersion in the music.
