On October 3, Metox will perform on the Aurora stage in Saint Petersburg. The artist will present his new album «Loyko Zobar» and perform the tracks that have already become his calling card. The evening promises powerful sound and the live energy of the stage.
Metox is a Russian hip-hop artist from Nizhny Novgorod who became known after his release from a maximum-security correctional colony in 2020. He channeled that experience into the album «Zapiski iz Myortvogo Doma».
Over 4 years Metox has recorded three collaborative albums with Pasha Tehnik (two of them as part of the group «Kaptyorka»). His discography includes collaborations with notable figures of the Russian rap scene: Brutto and Ves from «Kaspiyskiy Gruz», Loc-Dog, Slim, Brick Bazuka, Brazilets from «Rynochnye Otnosheniya», Horus, Sasha Skul and many others.
His work is autobiographical — experience translated into beats. Metox is not tied to a single genre: he freely changes his style while remaining recognizable. The artist himself jokes that his music is «too trap for the underground, but too underground for trap». In 2024 he pushed the boundaries even further: he put out a chanson release under the alias Samson Bogorodsky and recorded an album with Krov iz nosa aka Bumble Beezy.
On October 3, Metox will take the stage with new strength. He is ready to remind listeners of his signature tracks and present the fresh album «Loyko Zobar» — a work where every line has been lived, and the sound is sharp and alive.
